T5 Can Transmit Any File Type Date Published: 1/31/2003 Unlike any other EDI/INT transmission application in the market today, T5 allows you to send any file you want through the T5 system. Whether that's a Microsoft Word File, a QuickBooks report, a .ZIP file, or a string of JPEGs, T5 can securely transmit any file type between Trading Partners.
How is this done? Using proprietary technologies and processes, T5 wraps the document in an X.12 header and footer making it appear as an EDI document. Upon receipt at the Trading Partner, T5 processes the header and footer and returns the document to its original state.
