Trading Partner Agreements specify how data is transmitted and received between Trading Partners.

For each Agreement, you can specify

• General—Between which Trading Partners the agreement will govern data exchange.
• Receive Policy—What parameters will govern the receipt of data, how that data will be processed, and any receipt that will be sent.
• Send Policy—What parameters will govern the sending of data, how the data will be transmitted, and any receipt that will be sent.
• Retransmission Policy—In the case of transmission error, this policy governs how data will be resent.
