T5 Trading Digital Certificates

Digital Certificates ensure that the trading partners with whom you communicate are who they say they are. All certificates serve one or more purposes within a communication. For example, a certificate can either be for data encryption, message signing, or both.

T5 supports two types of certificates

  • Self-Signed—You can create digital certificates without having to purchase one from a trusted CA (certificate authority).
  • Third-Party Certificate—Using a trusted CA (such as GeoTrust or Verisign), you can produce a certificate request that can be used to generate a validated certificate.
