Templar Software Adds Translation Module

Templar has long been recognized as a leading edge communications tool for EDI.

Certified for AS1, AS2, and soon AS3, Templar is widely used to transmit encrypted EDI messages over the Internet to avoid VAN charges.

In response to customer demand, Templar Software is now proud to announce our expanded functionality that includes EDI translation capabilities.

That's right; we have added a new EDI translation module which features tremendous speed and flexibility. Both its mapping tool and the translation engine are sold separately, allowing companies and consultants to develop, test, and distribute runtime maps and engines to smaller trading partners.

The translation engine integrates with T5, our proven communications tool to offer a complete, affordable solution!

Trading partners can now choose whether to develop their own maps, or outsource them to a third party (i.e. their hubs, or consultants). By separating the mapping task from the translation engine, we are able to significantly reduce the cost and complexity of our EDI module, while greatly improving translation speed and control. In fact, Templar's translator is much faster and less expensive than any other alternative on the market today.

This is a very important accomplishment because we are now able to offer a complete EDI solution that is cost effective, easy to deploy, and specifically designed to incorporate non-EDI compliant partners.

We offer an all-in-one license* that includes:
1. Pre-loaded EDI maps** according to Hub's ICs to ensure compliance.
2. Choice of security and communications protocols: AS1, AS2, or AS3.
3. Complete audit log of every transaction including: encryption,
    translation, and message delivery notifications.
4. Installation and technical support.

* Corporate licensing and volume discounts are available for Hub-sponsored packages.
** Generic EDI to Text and/or Excel maps are provided, but maps can be easily customized to fit specific user needs.
